Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Leah Peres
DMD
As an orthodontist, Dr. Leah blends her analytical and creative skills to craft personalized treatment plans, emphasizing that there’s no “one size fits all” approach. Born and raised in Rochester, she graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and continues to teach part-time at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health.
Dr. Oriana Mapes
DDS
Dr. Mapes graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2008 with a doctorate in dental surgery. She then finished her pediatric dentistry residency in 2012. She has a strong commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
Dr. Ali Sullivan
DDS
Dr. Ali Sullivan grew up in Central New York before her dental training and residency. Dr. Ali focuses on restorative and pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Swetha Sathasivam
DMD
Dr. Swey is a board-certified pediatric dentist from Rochester, NY, committed to delivering exceptional dental care to children of all ages. With a passion for creating positive dental experiences, she brings a warm and engaging approach, often singing during treatments to help put her young patients at ease.

Courtney
Office Manager
Courtney comes to our office with several years of experience in the pediatric dental field. She has always worked with children and found a passion for dentistry along the way! She began her career at the front desk, cross trained into dental assisting and later stepped into management positions. Courtney is passionate about positively changing the way kids & adults feel about going to the dentist!
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, their dogs and her close friends. Some of her hobbies include staying active in the gym, reading, cooking and enjoying new restaurants.
Monica
Patient Advocate
Monica started the year off with us in January of 2024. She comes to us with years of customer service. Right out of college she was hired as a lead singer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Royal gave her skills to be able to work with people from all walks of life. She was able to travel and explore the world while doing what she loves. She has also had the pleasure of working at Spa’s and Salon’s, where she enjoyed getting pampered for half the price. While she loved the Spa environment, she was looking for a place that could still let her sing on the weekends and work during the week. A plus to the job, is that she is great with kids. She loves getting to see all the kids come in, and always wants to make them smile. When she is not at work, she is performing with her band or duo around town. She also loves to spend time with her friends and family.
Kristie
Patient Advocate
Kristie joined the team at Victor Smiles in the summer of 2024, bringing 12 years of experience as a Certified Registered Dental Assistant. As a mom of two active girls, Mackenzie and Bria, and with a background in child care, joining a pediatric dental office has been a dream come true for her. Kristie enjoys working in both the orthodontic and pediatric departments, ensuring every patient has a positive experience.
In her free time, Kristie is an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loves going on adventures with her family and their beloved Golden Retriever, George.
Megan
Dental Assistant
Megan is a pediatric dental assistant at Victor Smiles, where she brings her passion for working with children to life. She began her journey in dentistry after completing the BOCES dental assistant program and working as a general dental assistant at Finger Lakes Dental Care in 2021.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family, kayaking, and participating in various outdoor activities
Kassi
Dental Assistant
Kassi has been a valued member of the dental field since joining the Finger Lakes Dental Care assistant training program in March of 2022. After completing the program, she quickly found her passion in pediatric dental care. Kassi is dedicated to creating a positive and enjoyable experience for the children who visit, ensuring they feel comfortable and excited to return. Outside of work, Kassi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as engaging in outdoor activities like camping, kayaking, and more.
Clare
Dental Assistant
Clare began her dental career in January 2023 when she joined the Finger Lakes Dental Care Assistant Training Program. Since completing the program, she has found her passion in both pediatric and general dentistry, where she strives to provide every patient with an unforgettable experience. Clare is deeply committed to serving her community and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during every visit.
Outside of work, Clare loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys cooking and discovering new hiking trails, always seeking out new adventures in the great outdoors.
Brooke
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brooke began her academic journey at SUNY Brockport, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 2013. She then continued her education by completing the dental hygiene program at MCC in 2015, where she discovered her passion for pediatric dentistry. Since then, she has dedicated herself to creating enjoyable and stress-free dental experiences for her young patients, fostering connections that make each visit memorable.
Outside of the office, Brooke loves spending quality time with her family and her cherished dog, Wrigley. Whether exploring the great outdoors or relaxing at home, she values the moments shared with her loved ones.
KayLee
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a passionate Pediatric Dental Hygienist at Victor Smiles, KayLee joined the team in August 2024. After spending two years as an Orthodontic Assistant, she transitioned to dental hygiene, graduating from MCC in 2021. With a love for working with children, KayLee takes pride in making their dental visits enjoyable and memorable. She finds her role incredibly rewarding and feels fortunate to be in a profession she truly enjoys.
When she's not at work, KayLee spends her time with her fiancé, Ryan, their dog, Nessie, and her family. She enjoys baking, going for walks, working on home renovation projects, exploring estate sales, and catching up with friends over coffee. Additionally, KayLee is a licensed nail technician, where she enjoys expressing her creativity through nail art.
McKenna
Registered Dental Hygienist
Joining Victor Smiles pediatric team in July 2024, McKenna brings a background rooted in the Rochester area, although she pursued her dental hygiene education at SUNY Broome in the Binghamton region. Prior to finding her passion in pediatric dentistry, she gained experience as a dental assistant in general practices. She is dedicated to making every dental visit a positive and enjoyable experience for both children and their parents, finding great fulfillment in seeing families leave with smiles and peace of mind.
Outside of work, McKenna enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs. She loves exploring scenic areas, engaging in outdoor activities like kayaking and hiking, and discovering new experiences.
Natalie
Dental Assistant
Natalie is a dental assistant who completed her training at the Lighthouse Dental Assisting Institute, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and dental procedures. With over four years of experience working in childcare before entering the dental field, Natalie has a natural ability to connect with and support children, making her an invaluable part of any dental team.
Outside of work, Natalie enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors with her fiancé. She is passionate about art, an annual skier, and a devoted pet parent to a lively menagerie that includes two geckos, two cats, and a snake. Natalie’s warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm for helping others shine through in everything she does.
McKenna Chesvro
Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator
McKenna is the Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator at Victor Smiles, where she loves helping patients achieve smiles they can feel confident in. Coming from a background in general dentistry, she discovered her passion for orthodontics and enjoys guiding kids through their treatment journey. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the excitement on their faces as they reach their goals.
Outside the office, McKenna enjoys exploring the outdoors—whether it's hiking, traveling to National Parks, or taking her dog, Remi, on long walks.
Our daughter started her ortho treatments at the age of 7 so she was extremely scared of the entire process but the Victor Smiles staff have all been so patient, caring and just incredible with her. She’s been going to them since they first opened and I wouldn’t have her go anywhere else. We’ve only had great experiences with every staff member and her ortho process has gone so smoothly!

We drove almost an hour to see Dr. Mapes and she was all we could have hoped for and more. My son is 5 months and she couldn’t have been sweeter with him.
